As summer arrives and the landscape bursts into colour, June is the perfect time to reconnect with creativity and the beauty that surrounds us. This month I am delighted to share exciting opportunities to learn, create and celebrate local art inspired by the breathtaking scenery of the Sperrins.

The Landscapes of the Sperrins
This month's online art class focuses on capturing the beauty, atmosphere and rich colours of the Sperrin Mountains.
Together we will explore:
Acrylic painting techniques for creating dramatic skies and rolling landscapes
Expressive mark-making using ink
The use of gold leaf to add light, texture and a unique contemporary finish
Composition, colour mixing and building depth within a landscape.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, this class is designed to inspire creativity and help you develop new skills from the comfort of your own home.

It was a privilege to contribute to such a meaningful project celebrating Monsignor McCanny's remarkable 16 years of service to Limavady Parish and 40 years of dedicated priesthood.
